Nabij de aan Maria gewijde grotten staat een stenen BEELD VAN MARIA EN HAAR MOEDER ANNA opgesteld. Het beeld dateert uit omstreeks 1900 en heeft een gecementeerde verhoging die o.m. is gevormd uit baksteen aangevuld met misbaksels.

Het stenen beeld van Maria en haar moeder Anna nabij de aan Maria gewijde grotten vertegenwoordigt algemeen belang op basis van:
- de ouderdom;
- de functionele en religieuze betrokkenheid op de kloostertuin en het St. Michaëlklooster;
- de kunsthistorische betekenis, want het betreft een op Duitse voorbeelden geïnspireerde iconografie die is ontleend aan het land van herkomst van de kloostergemeenschap;
