Omschrijving complexonderdeel 15
In het noordwestelijk deel van de kloostertuin staat, tegenover de hoofdingang van het Missiehuis, op een hoog voetstuk een BEELD VAN CHRISTUS ALS GOEDE HERDER. Christus is ten voeten uit weergegeven, draagt op de linkerschouder een lam en houdt in de rechterhand een staf. Het beeld dateert uit omstreeks 1900. Het voetstuk is opgebouwd uit kunstmatige, gecementeerde rotsblokken en staat middenin een ovale vijver met stenen rand. Achter het beeld vormt een hoge, brede haag een coulisse. Een amandelvormige buxushaag omvat vijver, groene coulisse en een ijzeren lantaarnpaal in de oostelijke punt.

Description of complex component 15
In the northwestern part of the monastery garden, opposite the main entrance of the Mission House, stands on a high plinth a STATUE OF CHRIST AS THE GOOD SHEPHERD. Christ is depicted full-length, carries a lamb on his left shoulder and holds a staff in his right hand. The statue dates from around 1900. The plinth is built up from artificial, cemented rock blocks and stands in the middle of an oval pond with stone edge. Behind the statue a tall, broad hedge forms a vista-wall. An almond-shaped box hedge encloses the pond, green vista-wall and an iron lamp-post at the eastern point.

The statue of Christ as the Good Shepherd on plinth, with box hedge, vista-wall, oval pond and iron lamp-post is of public interest because of:
