Omschrijving complexonderdeel 11
Door mensenhand vervaardigde LOURDESGROT uit 1922, door soldaten uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog die in Steyl revalideerden. In een nis hoog in de grot staat het beeld van Maria, op het maaiveld staat aan de voorzijde van de grot het beeld van Bernadette de Soubirous. De grot is opgebouwd uit onder meer sintels, cement en (bak)steen.

De Lourdesgrot met beelden van Maria en Bernadette bezit algemeen belang wegens:
- de ouderdom;

A man-made LOURDES GROTTO from 1922, created by soldiers from the First World War who were recuperating in Steyl. In a niche high up in the grotto stands an image of Maria, at ground level at the front of the grotto stands an image of Bernadette de Soubirous. The grotto is constructed from amongst other things cinders, cement and (brick)stone.
