Omschrijving
HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG. Ten noorden van de omgrachte huisplaats ligt de midden negentiende-eeuwse oprijlaan die vanaf de openbare weg toegang tot de buitenplaats biedt. Aan het begin van deze laan staan twee natuurstenen hekpijlers (zie hiervoor onderdeel 3). Deze laan kruist de in oorsprong veertiende-eeuwse oost-west lopende Zwanenburgseweg. Het terrein van de huisplaats, waarvan de toegang gemarkeerd wordt door twee gemetselde hekpijlers met een bekroningen (zie hiervoor onderdeel 4) is van oorsprong aan west, noord en oostzijde omgracht. Aan de zuidzijde vormde de rivier de Aa de afsluiting. Een deel van de omgrachting is, met de kanalisering van de Aa in 1937 droog komen te vallen, maar in het terrein nog goed waarneembaar. Aan de oostkant van het huis ligt binnen de omgrachting een landschappelijk parkje uit het eind van de negentiende eeuw, bestaande uit een gazon met heestergroepen en solitaire bomen, bosjes en onverharde paden in de vorm van een rondwandeling met aftakkingen direct naar het huis. Langs de buitenzijde is het park omhaagd. Vanaf de rondwandeling zijn zichten op het huis en de omgeving geschapen. Ten noordwesten van het huis ligt, binnen de omgrachting, aan de oprijlaan de boomgaard die door een beukenhaag is omgeven. Parallel aan de omgrachting aan westzijde loopt een gebogen pad dat de verbinding vormt tussen het huis en de Zwanenburgseweg: de oude toegangsweg tot de huisplaats. Ten zuiden van het huis ligt de oude arm van de Aa.
Waardering
PARK- EN TUINAANLEG, behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Zwanenburg is van belang:
- wegens de gracht rond het kasteel, die een kenmerkend onderdeel is van de oorspronkelijke middeleeuwse aanleg
- wegens de negentiende-eeuwse toegangs- annex zichtlaan van het kasteel in noordelijke richting;
- wegens de in oorsprong middeleeuwse Zwanenburgseweg als verbinding tussen het gehucht, de kasteelplaats en de Kilsdonkse molen
- wegens de combinatie van heerlijk en agrarisch gebruik, gevisualiseerd in het negentiende-eeuwse landschapspark, gecombineerd met boomgraad en boerenerf.

HISTORICAL GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT. North of the moated house platform lies the mid-nineteenth-century approach road which provides access from the public road to the country estate. At the beginning of this road stand two natural stone gate piers (see for this component 3). This road crosses the originally fourteenth-century east-west running Zwanenburgseweg. The terrain of the house platform, the access to which is marked by two masonry gate piers with crowning elements (see for this component 4), was originally moated on the west, north and east sides. On the south side, the river Aa formed the boundary. Part of the moat, with the canalisation of the Aa in 1937, fell dry, but remains clearly visible in the terrain. On the east side of the house, within the moat, lies a landscape park from the end of the nineteenth century, consisting of a lawn with shrub groupings and solitary trees, copses and unmade paths in the form of a circuit walk with branches leading directly to the house. Along the outside the park is hedged. From the circuit walk, views of the house and surroundings have been created. North-west of the house lies, within the moat, adjoining the approach road, the orchard which is surrounded by a beech hedge. Parallel to the moat on the west side runs a curved path which forms the connection between the house and the Zwanenburgseweg: the old access route to the house platform. South of the house lies the old arm of the Aa.

PARK AND GARDEN LAYOUT, belonging to the historical country estate Zwanenburg, is of importance:
