Omschrijving onderdeel 7: TOEGANGSHEK NAAST MOLENSTEIN.
Aan de overzijde van de Langbroekerdijk en in de zichtas van het hoofdgebouw (huis Leeuwenburg) staand 18de-eeuws toegangshek. Het geheel smeedijzeren hekwerk is opgebouwd uit twee opengewerkte staanders waarin voluutvormige elementen, waartussen zich twee draaibare vleugels bevinden. Beide vleugels zwenken in in het midden en bestaan uit met puntige knoppen bekroonde spijlen en enkele regels. Aan weerszijden van het hekwerk bevindt zich een royaal voluutvormig zijstuk. Het hekwerk is geplaatst op eenvoudige bakstenen keermuren.

Het TOEGANGSHEK NAAST MOLENSTEIN is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 7: ENTRANCE GATE NEXT TO MOLENSTEIN.
On the opposite side of the Langbroekerdijk and standing in the sight line of the main building (house Leeuwenburg) an 18th-century entrance gate. The entire wrought-iron gate structure is composed of two open-worked posts in which scroll-shaped elements are located, between which are two hinged leaves. Both leaves swing in at the centre and consist of spikes crowned with pointed knobs and some rails. On either side of the gate structure is a generous scroll-shaped side piece. The gate is placed on simple brick retaining walls.

The ENTRANCE GATE NEXT TO MOLENSTEIN is of general interest:
