Omschrijving onderdeel 5. Dienstwoning.
Dienstwoning uit de zeventiende eeuw, opgetrokken van rode baksteen, op rechthoekige plattegrond. Een bouwlaag met een kapverdieping hoog, met zadeldak tussen tuitgevels met vlechtingen. Het dak is met rode pannen belegd. Klezoren op de hoeken in de koppenlagen. De kap is in de negentiende eeuw iets verhoogd. Aan de zuidoostkant is over de hele diepte in de negentiende eeuw een aanbouw gezet die met een lessenaarsdak tegen het zeventiende-eeuwse gedeelte aanloopt. Dit dak is met grijze pannen belegd. In de aanbouw is de toegang opgenomen. In het inwendige is geen sprake meer van originele details of structuren. Voor het pandje ligt een fraaie hardstenen stoep, met stoeppalen en een sierhek.

De dienstwoning behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Vredenoord is van belang:

Description component 5. Service dwelling.
Service dwelling from the seventeenth century, built of red brick, on a rectangular ground plan. One storey and a garret storey high, with a gabled roof between spout gables with wattling. The roof is covered with red tiles. Glazed bricks on the corners in the brick courses. The roof was raised slightly in the nineteenth century. On the southeast side a full-depth extension was added in the nineteenth century with a lean-to roof running against the seventeenth-century part. This roof is covered with grey tiles. The entrance is incorporated in the extension. Inside there are no original details or structures remaining. In front of the house is a fine hardstone step, with bollards and decorative railings.
Valuation
The service dwelling belonging to the historic country estate Vredenoord is of importance:
- by reason of its age;
- as an example of a simple service dwelling from the seventeenth century which was extended in the last quarter of the nineteenth century;
