Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 8: TERRASMUREN EN HEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Neercanne.
Aan de zuid- en noordzijde van de terrassenaanleg liggen de (nuts)tuinen, deze waren oorspronkelijk geheel ommuurd door laat-17de-eeuwse terrasmuren van mergelsteen. De muren van de zuidelijke boomgaard zijn nog voor circa 50 % intact, van de noordelijke (nuts)tuin resteert circa 10%. De fundamenten zijn nog grotendeels aanwezig.
Langs de bergwand is een pad uitgehouwen met aan de oostkant een lage borstwering. Het einde van dit pad wordt afgesloten door een hek gevormd door twee bakstenen pijlers bekroond door natuurstenen vazen in de vorm van vlammende potten.
Waardering
De TERRASMUREN EN HEK zijn van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 8: TERRACE WALLS AND GATE belonging to the country house Neercanne.
On the south and north side of the terraced layout lie the (utility) gardens, these were originally entirely surrounded by late 17th-century terrace walls of marl stone. The walls of the southern orchard remain approximately 50% intact, of the northern (utility) garden approximately 10% remains. The foundations are still largely present.
Along the hillside a path has been hewn out with a low parapet on the east side. The end of this path is closed off by a gate formed by two brick piers crowned by natural stone urns in the form of flaming pots.
