Zuidwestelijke van twee, ten opzichte van elkaar schuin, geprojecteerde en op een rechthoekig grondplan ontworpen speelgebouwtjes bij het gemeentelijk Openluchtcomplex uit 1931-1932 in sobere Amsterdamse School-trant. Het bakstenen gebouwtje heeft één bouwlaag onder een overstekend schilddak met rode pannen. De naar elkaar toegekeerde zijden zijn voorzien van door roeden klein onderverdeelde vensters boven een hoge natuurstenen plint. De kopse zijden zijn eveneens voorzien van klein onderverdeelde vensters. In de kopgevel aan de straatzijde zijn de vensters boven de natuurstenen cordonband geplaatst. Deze cordonband is de voortzetting van de natuurstenen dekplaat op de verbindende muur.
Waardering
In oorsprong als overdekte speelplaats dienend schoolgebouwtje in sobere expressionistische trant van algemeen belang wegens architectuur- en cultuurhistorische en typologische waarde en als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het gemeentelijk scholencomplex met openluchtschool.

Description
Southwesterly of two play buildings, projected at angles to each other and designed on a rectangular ground plan at the municipal Open Air Complex from 1931-1932 in sober Amsterdam School style. The brick building has one storey under a projecting hipped roof with red tiles. The sides facing each other are provided with windows subdivided by glazing bars into small panes above a high natural stone plinth. The end sides likewise have small-paned subdivided windows. In the end gable facing the street the windows are placed above the natural stone band course. This band course is the continuation of the natural stone coping on the connecting wall.
Valuation
Originally serving as a covered playground school building in sober expressionistic style of general importance due to architectural and cultural-historical and typological value and as a historical-functional component of the municipal school complex with open-air school.
