Drie stuwvijvers met bijbehorende sluisjes en duikers waarvan twee kleine vijvers ten noorden van de U-vormige opstal en een zeer grote aan de zuidzijde van de Weijerweg: drie in het landschap waarneembare rondgaande dijkvormige aardlichamen, alle ongeveer heuphoog danwel manshoog en met een gesloten min of meer ovale vorm zodat een bassin of stuwvijver kan ontstaan ten behoeve van de opslag van water en de molenfunctie. Voorts nog een verbindende watergang tussen de grote zuidelijke stuwvijver en de molen, gelegen aan de oostkant van de hoeve en met een brugje de Weijerweg kruisend; aldaar aan de noordkant van de Weijerweg een sluisje als begin van de afslagtak. Deze tak loopt enkele tientallen meters langs de weg, met een brugje onder de oprijlaan doorgaand en vervolgens in noordelijke richting afbuigend tot ten noorden van de U-vormige opstal; hierin uitkomend de watergang die over het waterrad stromend water moet afvoeren.
Waardering
De drie stuwvijvers bezitten algemeen belang want:
- zij dateren in oorsprong in ieder geval uit de 19de eeuw, maar zijn waarschijnlijk ouder;
- de ruimtelijke, visuele, functionele en historische betrekking tot de Volmolen of watermolen Frankenhof is dermategoed leesbaar dat sprake is van betekenis voor de geschiedenis van het cultuurlandschap en voor de geschiedenis van de waterbeheersing;
- de combinatie van een bovenslagmolen met stuwvijvers als deze is zeldzaam;
- zij zijn gaaf behouden;
- de stuwvijvers voorzien met het omgevende cultuurlandschap waaronder de Zieversbeek in een opmerkelijk veelzijdig en samenhangend spectrum van historische belevings- en ervaringsmomenten.

Description
Three storage ponds with associated sluices and culverts, two small ponds north of the U-shaped building and a very large one on the south side of the Weijerweg: three earthworks perceptible in the landscape with rounded dam forms, all approximately waist-high or man-high and with a closed more or less oval shape so that a basin or storage pond can form for water storage and mill function. Furthermore a connecting watercourse between the large southern storage pond and the mill, situated on the east side of the farm and crossing the Weijerweg with a small bridge; there on the north side of the Weijerweg a sluice as the beginning of the discharge channel. This channel runs for several tens of metres along the road, passing through a bridge under the drive and subsequently turning in a northerly direction to the north of the U-shaped building; therein connecting to the watercourse which must discharge water flowing over the water wheel.
Valuation
The three storage ponds possess general importance for:
- they date in origin in any case from the 19th century, but are probably older;
- the spatial, visual, functional and historical relationship to the Volmolen or water mill Frankenhof is so clearly legible that it is significant for the history of the cultural landscape and for the history of water management;
- the combination of an overshot mill with storage ponds such as these is rare;
- they are well preserved;
- the storage ponds provide, together with the surrounding cultural landscape including the Zieversbeek, a remarkable diverse and coherent spectrum of historical experience and observation moments.
