Omschrijving onderdeel 4.
Het boerderijcomplex is gesitueerd op een laag gelegen ERF, XIX-XX, omzoomd door sloten tussen twee zeedijken. De toegang tot het erf wordt gevormd door een onverharde weg vanaf de Nesserdijk die langs de Nieuwe Maas loopt, die thans wordt geflankeerd door knotwilgen. De toegangsweg leidt naar het midden van het erf waar voorheen een hooiberg stond en waaraan, dicht bij elkaar de drie bewaard gebleven opstallen gegroepeerd zijn. Het erf heeft een groen karakter door beplanting met diverse soorten bomen en struiken, hagen en de aanwezigheid van een boomgaard. De aftakking van de sloot aan de westzijde van het erf is vermoedelijk een overblijfsel van een haventje. Nabij de gebouwen bezit het erf restanten van bestrating.
Waardering
De ERFAANLEG als onderdeel van het boerderijcomplex is van algemeen belang wegens cultuurhistorische en ensemblewaarden, vanwege de functioneel-ruimtelijke relatie met de andere onderdelen van het complex en als structurerend element van het complex. Description of component 4.
The farm complex is situated on a low-lying plot, 19th-20th century, bordered by ditches between two sea dykes. Access to the plot is formed by an unmade road from the Nesserdijk which runs along the Nieuwe Maas, which is now flanked by pollard willows. The access road leads to the middle of the plot where a hay barn previously stood and to which, close together, the three preserved buildings are grouped. The plot has a green character due to planting with various types of trees and shrubs, hedges and the presence of an orchard. The branch of the ditch on the west side of the plot is presumably a remnant of a small harbour. Near the buildings the plot has remains of paving.
Valuation
The plot layout as part of the farm complex is of general importance due to cultural-historical and ensemble values, because of the functional-spatial relationship with the other components of the complex and as a structuring element of the complex. The plot constitutes a reinforcement of the monumental character of the farmhouse and outbuildings.
