Inleiding
Twee hekpijlers van het voormalige fort Sint Michiel. Beide pijlers staan op enkele tientallen meters ten westen van de hekpijlers aan de Garnizoenweg, op het terrein van de Frederik Hendrik Kazerne en dateren uit de zeventiende eeuw.
Omschrijving
Twee identieke hardstenen hekpijlers, beide afgeknot, tegen de buitenzijden van de pijlers aanzetten van aansluitend muurwerk, eveneens in hardsteen uitgevoerd.
Waardering
De twee identieke hardstenen hekpijlers, beide afgeknot en met aan de buitenzijden aanzetten van aansluitend, hardstenen muurwerk vertegenwoordigen algemeen belang wegens:
- de ouderdom;
