Omschrijving
MOLEN. De molen bestaat uit de ronde conisch gemetselde bakstenen romp en de houten kap. De molen bestaat uit vijf bouwlagen. De kap kruit op een engels kruiwerk en is gedekt met riet. De molen is thans weer ingericht als maalvaardige korenmolen met twee koppels maalstenen, een steenkraan en een luiwerk. De molen is voorzien van een gietijzeren bovenas van fabrikaat J.M. De Muinck Keizer, Martenshoek, fabricagejaar 1905, nummer 129 en heeft een Vlaamse vang. De gelaste stalen roeden met een vlucht van 21,8 meter zijn voorzien van het Oud-Hollandse wieksysteem. Het binnenwerk van de molen is grotendeels geheel nieuw. Thans nog aanwezige oude onderdelen zijn: drie kruisbalken van de steenzolder, de twee onderste kruisbalken van de spoorwielzolder, de twee draagbalken van de luizolder, enkele vloerbalken en een onbenut lager van een voormalig luiwerk dat is gesitueerd in het metselwerk.
Waardering
De molen is van algemeen belang uit typologisch en bouwtechnisch-historisch oogpunt als functioneel onderdeel van het complex aan de Gorsselse Enkweg.

The mill is currently set up again as a functional grain mill with two pairs of mill stones, a stone crane and a hoisting mechanism. The mill is provided with a cast iron main shaft of manufacture J.M. De Muinck Keizer, Martenshoek, manufacturing year 1905, number 129 and has a Flemish catch. The welded steel sails with a span of 21.8 metres are provided with the Old Dutch sail system. The interior of the mill is largely completely new. Old components still present are: three cross beams of the stone floor, the two lowest cross beams of the gear wheel floor, the two supporting beams of the hoisting floor, some floor beams and an unused bearing of a former hoisting mechanism that is situated in the masonry.

The mill is of general importance from a typological and construction-historical point of view as a functional component of the complex on the Gorsselse Enkweg.
