Omschrijving
VERENIGINGSGEBOUW gebouwd omstreeks 1900 als dienstgebouw bij de hervormde Kerk van Oudwoude. Het gebouw in eclectische trant met accoladeboogvormige vensters is na 1944 in bijpassende stijl verlengd, bij welke gelegenheid de toegangsdeur in de kopse gevel aan de laanzijde werd dichtgezet. Aan de rechterzijde twee aanbouwen van ondergeschikt belang. De ontwerper van het gebouw is niet bekend. Zaalvormig gebouw, opgetrokken uit bruinrode baksteen met accenten in gele baksteen en gedekt door een met blauw geglazuurde golfpannen belegd zadeldak tussen topgevels met siermetselwerk; plint rond het oudste gedeelte; schoorsteen; goot op klossen; gietijzeren ankerrozetten; de gevels regelmatig ingedeeld door accoladeboogvormige ramen met houten meerruits verdeling; gele bakstenen raamomlijstingen en dito waterlijst ; in linkerzijgevel deur met accoladeboogvormig bovenlicht. In het INTERIEUR twee houten harmonicawanden; in de achterste ruimte klein toneel.

ASSEMBLY BUILDING built around 1900 as a service building for the reformed Church of Oudwoude. The building in eclectic style with accolade arch-shaped windows was extended after 1944 in matching style, on which occasion the entrance door in the end gable on the lane side was closed off. On the right side two secondary annexes. The designer of the building is not known. Hall-shaped building, constructed of brownish-red brick with accents in yellow brick and covered by a saddle roof between gable ends with decorative brickwork, covered with blue-glazed corrugated pantiles; plinth around the oldest section; chimney; gutter on brackets; cast-iron anchor rosettes; the facades regularly divided by accolade arch-shaped windows with wooden multi-pane glazing bars; yellow brick window surrounds and likewise drip moulding; in the left side gable a door with an accolade arch-shaped fanlight. In the INTERIOR two wooden concertina walls; in the rear space a small stage.
