The front facade is symmetrically arranged: blocked central risalit with substantial dormer below covered with blue Frisian ridge tiles in lean-to roof; gutter on brackets. Entrance section beneath balcony on wooden posts; wooden balcony railing in (constrained) Art Nouveau. On the ground floor double entrance doors with ornamental metalwork and side lights, set within a circle in yellow brick surround; hard stone breast wall; low hard stone step. On the upper floor three-light consisting of double wooden balcony doors with multi-pane fanlights; lower side lights on either side; the whole within yellow brick surround. The section below the roof edge provided with ornamental plasterwork. On either side of the entrance section originally T-windows with louvres (now H-windows with thermopane). INTERIOR. The interior is symmetrically arranged. Central middle corridor covered with marble tiles (large format) with living and service spaces on either side. In the corridor an arched passage and wall panels (new marble work to original pattern) and panelled doors (rehung). Connecting door with wooden division containing coloured glass (red and blue) with cutting and circular motif (possibly 1906). In both front rooms a (originally possibly partly polychrome) now white-painted ceiling of carton pierre (papier-mâché); wooden folding blinds; black chimney-breast (restored to old model). In the rear room bordering the conservatory, a beam ceiling decorated with beading and floral motifs (stencilwork). Between the rear and front room at the location of former bed alcoves suite doors with cupboards (first half 20th century). During the renovation and restoration of the building (in 2001), apart from the special ceilings, a floor covered with green-glazed earthenware tiles appeared in the rear room. This was (again) hidden from view by the wooden floor laid over it. The marble and wood imitations, the black chimney-breast in the front room on the left and the (thermopane) windows date from 2001.
