Omschrijving
OMGRACHTING, HEKWERK en LAAN. Het terrein wordt geheel omgeven door een GRACHT. Op de dam, aan laanzijde, een eenvoudig gietijzeren HEKWERK (19de eeuw), bestaande uit gecanneleerde balusters met pijnappels, waartussen draaibare middenvleugels en twee zijstukken, waarvan het rechter draaibaar (loophek); alle delen bestaande uit een strak spijlenwerk met pieken en opengewerkte sierstukjes. De eindbalusters met siersmeedwerk. De LAAN, die het complex met de Foarwei verbindt, is ingeplant met (thans monumentale) beuken.

ENCIRCLING DITCH, FENCING and LANE. The site is completely surrounded by a DITCH. On the dam, on the lane side, a simple cast-iron FENCE (19th century), consisting of fluted balusters with pineapples, between which rotating centre wings and two side sections, the right one being rotatable (access gate); all parts consisting of a taut spindle work with spikes and openwork decorative pieces. The end balusters with decorative ironwork. The LANE, which connects the complex with the Foarwei, is planted with (now monumental) beeches.
