Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 6: INRIJHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Eerde.
Het voorplein wordt afgesloten door een ornamenteel, dubbel, smeedijzeren spijlenhek met vergulde spijlpunten. Het symmetrische hek bestaat aan beide zijden uit drie delen en is op verschillende manieren draaibaar. Het smeedwerk vertoont een barok patroon van krullen en geometrische motieven. De barokke vormgeving gaat terug tot de eerste helft van de 18de eeuw, het huidige hek is vermoedelijk van latere datum.
Waardering
Het INRIJHEK behorende tot de buitenplaats Eerde is van algemeen belang:

Description
Description component 6: ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the country seat Eerde.
The forecourt is closed off by an ornamental, double wrought-iron railing with gilded spear points. The symmetrical gate consists on both sides of three parts and is rotatable in various ways. The wrought-work displays a baroque pattern of scrolls and geometric motifs. The baroque design dates back to the first half of the 18th century, the present gate is presumed to be of later date.
