Omschrijving onderdeel 3:
BRUG. Sierlijke smeedijzeren hangbrug uit ca. 1832 met houten plankier en eenvoudige balustrade van stijlen en regels waartussen 8 als 'guirlandes' hangende dubbele regels. De brug is als het ware een manifestatie in smeedijzer van de curve als leidend ontwerpprincipe van de aanleg van het park. De brug werd omstreeks 1990 gerestaureerd.
Waardering De brug in het park van Roptastate is in cultuurhistorisch opzicht van algemeen belang

BRIDGE. Elegant wrought-iron suspension bridge from circa 1832 with wooden plank deck and simple balustrade of posts and rails with between them 8 as 'festoons' hanging double rails. The bridge is as it were a manifestation in wrought-iron of the curve as the guiding design principle of the park layout. The bridge was restored circa 1990.
