Inleiding
MOLENROMP. De romp van deze achtkante bovenkruier met de naam 'De Stammermolen' is in 1873 gebouwd en was ingericht als poldermolen voor de bemaling van de Gemeenschapspolder. De molen is in 1927 onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis, de kap, de romp tot de kapzolder en het gaande werk werden verwijderd. De molenromp heeft thans een functie als café annex woning. De molenromp is ten behoeve van de huidige functie uitgebreid met een aantal kleine aanbouwen. Deze aanbouwen vallen buiten de werking van de Monumentenwet. De molenromp ligt aan de noordoostkant van het riviertje de Gaasp, ten zuidoosten van Diemen, in een open omgeving.
Omschrijving
De molenromp bestaat uit de gemetselde bakstenen voet met daarop een houten achtkant. De van twee bintlagen voorziene molenromp is ter hoogte van de kapzolder ingekort, is gedekt met riet en voorzien van een plat dak.
Waardering
De molenromp is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een houten achtkante poldermolen uit de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als essentieel onderdeel van de ontginnings- en waterstaatkundige geschiedenis van Noord-Holland en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;
- vanwege situationele waarden betreffende de belendende waterlopen.

Introduction
MILL HULL. The hull of this octagonal upper-turning mill named 'De Stammermolen' was built in 1873 and was fitted out as a polder mill for the drainage of the Gemeenschapspolder. The mill was dismantled in 1927, whereby the sail cross, the cap, the hull up to the cap floor and the running machinery were removed. The mill hull currently serves as a café combined with a dwelling. The mill hull has been extended with a number of small outbuildings for its current function. These outbuildings fall outside the scope of the Monuments Act. The mill hull is situated on the northeastern side of the river Gaasp, southeast of Diemen, in an open environment.
Description
The mill hull consists of the mortared brick base with a wooden octagon on top. The mill hull, provided with two binding layers, is shortened at the height of the cap floor, is covered with thatch and fitted with a flat roof.
Valuation
The mill hull is of general importance:
- for its building-technical and historical value as a recognizable and representative relic of a wooden octagonal polder mill from the second half of the 19th century;
