Omschrijving onderdeel 2: HISTORISCHE PARK- EN TUINAANLEG.
De parkaanleg manifesteert zich in een drietal deelgebieden: het bleekveld ten zuiden van het huis, de aanleg in de directe omgeving van het huis, het wandelbos ten noordwesten van het huis. Deze gebieden zijn verschillend van oorsprong en wordingsgeschiedenis: het bleekveld gaat terug op de 17de-eeuwse situatie. De aanleg rondom het huis is (een restant van) de vroeg 19de eeuwse landschappelijke aanleg rondom het toen veel grotere bezit van de Gliphoeve. Het wandelbos met daarin de ronde vijver met eilandje dat aansluit op de slingerende waterloop en het hoge duin dateert uit de tijd dat dit deel van De Gliphoeve verkocht was aan Mattheus Brandts, de eigenaar van de Hartekamp, die het bij zijn overtuin voegde. Het voormalige bleekveld bestaat uit een open rechthoekig grasland door bomen omzoomd.
De aanleg in de directe omgeving van het huis is landschappelijk van karakter en naar aangenomen wordt aangelegd door J.D. Zocher sr., al is dit niet bevestigd. Hiervan wordt aangetroffen: de licht gekromde oprijlaan, die uitkomt op een kleine openruimte voor het huis. De laan en de openruimte voor het huis wordt omzoomd door een 20-tal oude lindebomen. Links naast de laan is een smalle strook grond, die door kleine heuveltjes enigszins geaccidenteerd wordt. Hierop staan solitairen. De beek daarnaast is mogelijk een oudere waterloop, die tot de huidige slingerende vorm is vergraven. Rechts naast de oprijlaan ligt eerst een bebost terrein en daarna een open grasland. Een tweede met linden beplante laan bevindt zich achter het huis en rechts achter het huis ligt de moestuin nog op de oorspronkelijke plek. Het deel met het parkbos is een geaccidenteerd landschap met een gemengde boombeplanting waartussen zich de paden slingeren. In het oostelijke deel is een vrij forse min of meer ronde vijver aangelegd met een rond eilandje in het midden. De vijver mondt uit in de slingerende beek. Langs de Prinsenlaan loopt een smalle sloot. In de zuidwesthoek ligt het (ver)hoog(de) duin, dat uitzicht biedt over het bleekveld.
Waardering
De HISTORISCHE PARK- EN TUINAANLEG is van algemeen belang vanwege:
- de herkenbare relicten van de inrichting van het landschap t.b.v. de blekerij;
- de vroeg 19de eeuwse aanleg in landschappelijke stijl, mogelijk naar ontwerp van Zocher sr.;
- de op het terrein aanwezige archeologische vindplaats.

Description component 2: HISTORIC PARK AND GARDEN LAYOUT.
The park layout manifests itself in three sub-areas: the bleach field to the south of the house, the layout in the immediate vicinity of the house, the woodland walk to the north-west of the house. These areas have different origins and development histories: the bleach field dates back to the 17th-century situation. The layout around the house is a remnant of the early 19th-century landscape layout around the then much larger property of De Gliphoeve. The woodland walk with the round pond with small island within it that adjoins the winding watercourse and the high dune dates from the time when this part of De Gliphoeve was sold to Mattheus Brandts, the owner of the Hartekamp, who added it to his overtuin. The former bleach field consists of an open rectangular grassland bordered by trees.
The layout in the immediate vicinity of the house is landscape in character and is assumed to have been designed by J.D. Zocher sr., although this is not confirmed. Of this there is to be found: the slightly curved drive which leads to a small open space in front of the house. The drive and the open space in front of the house are bordered by approximately twenty old lime trees. To the left of the drive is a narrow strip of land which is somewhat undulating due to small hillocks. Solitary trees stand upon it. The stream alongside is possibly an older watercourse, which has been re-dug into its present winding form. To the right of the drive there is first a wooded area and then an open grassland. A second drive planted with lime trees is located behind the house and to the right behind the house the vegetable garden still lies in its original location. The part with the parkwood is an undulating landscape with mixed tree planting through which the paths wind. In the eastern part a fairly substantial roughly round pond has been laid out with a round island in the middle. The pond flows into the winding stream. Along the Prinsenlaan a narrow ditch runs. In the south-west corner lies the (raised) dune, which offers views over the bleach field.
Valuation
The HISTORIC PARK AND GARDEN LAYOUT is of general importance on account of:
- the recognisable relics of the landscape arrangement for the bleachery;
- the early 19th-century layout in landscape style, possibly designed by Zocher sr.;
- the archaeological find-spot present on the site.
