Omschrijving onderdeel 10: POORTGEBOUW.
Het POORTGEBOUW uit de 18de eeuw, is gelegen aan de Diependaalsedijk aan de zuidwestzijde van de hoofdingang. Het gebouw is met de eindgevel in de tuinmuur opgenomen, net als het voormalige koetshuis. Boven de muurdammen van de verstevigde muur komen twee gekoppelde ramen voor en verder is deze linkergevel van het pand blind uitgevoerd. Het poortgebouw is op een rechthoekig grondvlak in baksteen opgetrokken en telt twee bouwlagen. Het is met de nok van het zadeldak haaks op de weg gelegen en is gedekt met oud Hollandse pannen. In beide dakvlakken wordt de laag geplaatste dakkapel gedekt door uit het dakvlak doorgetrokken lessenaarsdak. De gevelindeling met moderne ramen is veelal niet meer oorspronkelijk. Ook het interieur is vanwege een nieuwe bestemming gemoderniseerd.
Waardering
Het POORTGEBOUW behorende tot de historische buitenplaats 'Doornburgh' is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ensemblewaarde in relatie met de overige onderdelen op de buitenplaats;
- vanwege de functioneel-ruimtelijke relatie met de parkaanleg;
- vanwege de prominente situering als poortgebouw bij de entree.

Description component 10: GATE LODGE.
The GATE LODGE from the 18th century is located on the Diependaalsedijk on the south-west side of the main entrance. The building is incorporated into the garden wall with its gable end, just like the former coachhouse. Above the piers of the reinforced wall are two coupled windows and the left gable of the building is otherwise executed blind. The gate lodge is constructed of brick on a rectangular ground plan and comprises two storeys. It is positioned with the ridge of the gabled roof perpendicular to the road and is covered with old Dutch tiles. In both roof planes the low-set roof dormer is covered by a leanto roof extended from the roof plane. The gable division with modern windows is largely no longer original. The interior has also been modernised owing to a change of use.

The GATE LODGE belonging to the historic country estate 'Doornburgh' is of general importance:
