Omschrijving onderdeel 3: BIJGEBOUW.
BIJGEBOUW, voormalig kinderhuisje, ook wel 'Klein Doornburgh' genaamd, behorende tot de historische buitenplaats 'Doornburgh' en daterend uit dezelfde tijd (18de eeuw).
Het eenlaagse bijgebouw is westelijk gelegen van het hoofdhuis. Het is vanuit een rechthoekig grondvlak in baksteen opgetrokken en wordt met de nokas van het haaks op het hoofdhuis gerichte zadeldak gedekt door gesmoorde Oud-Hollandse pannen. De vensters zijn veelal gevat tussen een houten dorpel en strekse boog, alleen in de deuropening komt een hardstenen dorpel voor. De tussen topgevels geplaatste eindgevel is voorzien van vlechtingen evenwijdig aan de windveren.
De naar het oosten gerichte symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel bevat in de middenas een paneeldeur onder een 5x2-ruits bovenlicht. Ter weerszijden komt een 4x(2+2) schuifraam voor, geflankeerd door paneelluiken.
De linkerzijgevel wordt, als eindgevel, merendeels ingenomen door een in verhouding onevenredig groot 4x7-ruits kozijn met tuindeuren onder een rollaag. In de topgevel is een 2x(1+3)- ruits raam geplaatst.
De achtergevel bevat twee 2x4-ruits beluikte stolpraampjes.
De rechter zijgevel die naar de achterzijde van het hoofdhuis wijst wordt begane gronds door twee deurtjes ingedeeld en is in de geveltop bezet met een dubbelluik onder hijshaak.
Waardering
Het BIJGEBOUW behorende tot de historische buitenplaats 'Doornburgh' is van algemeen belang:

OUTBUILDING, former children's cottage, also called 'Klein Doornburgh', belonging to the historic country estate 'Doornburgh' and dating from the same period (18th century).
The single-storey outbuilding is situated to the west of the main house. It is constructed in brick from a rectangular ground plan and is covered with a gabled roof with the ridge perpendicular to the main house, tiled with smoked Old Dutch tiles. The windows are mostly set between a wooden sill and a relieving arch, only in the door opening does a sandstone sill occur. The end gable placed between stepped gables is provided with lattice-work parallel to the roof edges.
The east-facing symmetrically arranged front facade contains in the central axis a panel door beneath a 5x2-pane fanlight. On either side there is a 4x(2+2) sash window, flanked by panel shutters.
The left side gable, as an end gable, is for the most part taken up by a disproportionately large 4x7-pane window with garden doors beneath a roller-course. In the gable top a 2x(1+3)-pane window is installed.
The rear facade contains two 2x4-pane shuttered casement windows.
The right side gable, which faces the rear of the main house, is divided at ground level by two small doors and is fitted in the gable top with a double shutter beneath a hoist hook.
