Omschrijving onderdeel 4: KOETSHUIS met TUINMUUR.
KOETSHUIS met TUINMUUR behorende tot de historische buitenplaats 'Doornburgh'. De tuinmuur loopt voor een belangrijk deel langs de Diependaalsedijk en vormt daar de oostelijke grens van de buitenplaats. Het koetshuis is één van de twee bijgebouwen die direct aan de straatzijde langs de oostgrens van de buitenplaats zijn gesitueerd. De eindgevel van het koetshuis is in de tuinmuur opgenomen, net als de eindgevel van het poortgebouw (onderdeel 10). In het gedeelte tussen koetshuis en poortgebouw bevindt zich de entree.
De bakstenen tuinmuur wordt door op gelijke afstand geplaatste muurdammen geleed. Vazen op de muurdammen accentueren de ingang. Aan de zuidoostzijde, waar de muur de grens met de bebouwing in het stadscentrum trekt, is de muur lager.
Het eenlaagse koetshuis is vanuit een rechthoekige plattegrond in baksteen opgetrokken, onder een met gesmoorde opnieuw verbeterde Hollandse pannen belegd samengesteld dak. Als voorgevel wordt de zijde beschouwd die aan deze toegang is gelegen en bestaat uit twee vensters met stalen kozijnen waarin 12 ruits ramen zijn opgenomen, een deur onder bovenlicht, door een afdakje gescheiden en geheel rechts een venster met houten 4x(3+3) raam op natuurstenen dorpel. In het dakschild bevindt zich een aangekapte dakkapel met twee gekoppelde vierruits draairaampjes.
De linker zijgevel die aansluit op een betegeld terras, wordt afgesloten door drie naast elkaar geplaatste tuitgevels met vlechtingen. Begane gronds komt in het midden een stel dubbeldeuren in stalen kozijnen voor onder een tweeruits bovenlicht. In de flankerende gevels is een stalen door twee regels ingedeeld vijflichts kozijn geplaatst.
In de achtergevel komt een houten 3x(2+3) ruits schuifraam voor met vouwluiken alsook een moderne brandtrap vanuit de dakkapel zoals in de voorgevel. Aan de straatzijde komen boven twee kelderluiken twee door roeden in vieren gedeelde schuiframen voor.
De rechter zijgevel grenst direct aan de straat en wordt gekenmerkt door een afgetopt zadeldak met vlechtingen evenwijdig aan de schuine dakschilden. Begane gronds komt, in het midden geplaatst gevat tussen dorpel met rollaag een driestrooks venster voor onder strekse boog. Ter weerszijden bevindt zich een 2x3-ruits raam op rollaag dorpel. De geveltop is met drie stolpramen ingevuld. Koetshuis en tuinmuur dateren uit de 18de eeuw.

COACH HOUSE with GARDEN WALL belonging to the historic country estate 'Doornburgh'. The garden wall runs for an important part along the Diependaalsedijk and forms the eastern boundary of the country estate there. The coach house is one of two outbuildings situated directly on the street side along the eastern boundary of the country estate. The end gable of the coach house is incorporated into the garden wall, as is the end gable of the gate building (component 10). In the section between coach house and gate building is the entrance.
The brick garden wall is articulated by wall buttresses placed at equal intervals. Urns on the wall buttresses accentuate the entrance. On the south-east side, where the wall forms the boundary with the buildings in the town centre, the wall is lower.
The single-storey coach house is constructed in brick from a rectangular ground plan, under a composite roof with smoked newly improved Dutch tiles. The side facing the entrance is considered the front facade and consists of two windows with steel frames containing 12-pane windows, a door beneath a fanlight, separated by a canopy, and furthest right a window with wooden 4x(3+3) frame on natural stone sill. In the roof slope there is an inserted roof dormer with two coupled four-pane casement windows.
The left side gable adjoining a tiled terrace is terminated by three spout gables placed next to each other with lattice-work. At ground level in the middle there is a pair of double doors in steel frames beneath a two-pane fanlight. In the flanking gables a five-light steel frame divided by two rules is installed.
In the rear facade there is a wooden 3x(2+3)-pane sash window with folding shutters as well as a modern fire escape from the roof dormer as in the front facade. On the street side, above two cellar lights, two sash windows divided by glazing bars into four lights are present.
The right side gable borders directly on the street and is characterised by a truncated gabled roof with lattice-work parallel to the sloping roof slopes. At ground level, placed in the middle and set between sill and roller-course, there is a three-strip window beneath a relieving arch. On either side there is a 2x3-pane window on roller-course sill. The gable top is filled with three casement windows. Coach house and garden wall date from the 18th century.
