Omschrijving onderdeel 2: HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG.
HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG in de 19de eeuw in opdracht van de familie Huydecoper ontworpen door (tuin)architect J.D. Zocher, in Landschapsstijl. In de tweede helft van de 20ste eeuw is de buitenplaats overgegaan in handen van een kloosterorde en is aan de zuidzijde een modern kloostergebouw in het park geïntegreerd.
De oorspronkelijke hoofdstructuur van de buitenplaats, die opmerkelijk goed bewaard is gebleven, wordt door lanen, slingerpaden en waterlopen bepaald. Parkbos met serpentine vijver, gazons, grasland en park vullen de kleinschalige ruimten verder in.
Van de twee lanen die op de Diependaalsedijk worden ontsloten, vormde vermoedelijk de noordelijke laan de hoofdlaan met toegangshek. Thans is alleen de zuidelijke laan die tussen de twee bouwhuizen ligt, in gebruik. Genoemde lanen komen in het hart van de buitenplaats samen en zetten zich als een eveneens buiten gebruik gestelde laan, naar het jaagpad langs de Vecht voort, waar zich een monumentaal toegangshek bevindt. Evenwijdig aan deze laan doorsnijdt een sloot het landgoed en eindigt na enkele bochten in de sloot langs de Diependaalsedijk. De afwisseling van weilanden en een vijver zorgt voor verrassende doorzichten, waarbij de gegroepeerde, veelal oude en grote bomen voor een coulissematige opbouw zorgen. De lanen zijn overwegend verhard. Het hoofdhuis ligt met uitzondering van de achterzijde hoofdzakelijk in een kiezelbed.

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT designed in the 19th century on behalf of the Huydecoper family by (garden) architect J.D. Zocher, in landscape style. In the second half of the 20th century the country estate passed into the hands of a monastic order and a modern monastery building was integrated into the park on the south side.
The original main structure of the country estate, which has been remarkably well preserved, is determined by avenues, winding paths and watercourses. Park woodland with serpentine pond, lawns, pasture and park fill the small-scale spaces further.
Of the two avenues which are accessed from the Diependaalsedijk, the northern avenue presumably formed the main avenue with an entrance gate. Currently only the southern avenue, which lies between the two outbuildings, is in use. The aforementioned avenues converge in the heart of the country estate and continue as an also disused avenue towards the towpath along the Vecht, where a monumental entrance gate is situated. Parallel to this avenue a ditch cuts through the estate and ends after several bends in the ditch along the Diependaalsedijk. The alternation of meadows and a pond creates surprising vistas, whereby the grouped, mostly old and large trees provide a coulisse-like structure. The avenues are predominantly surfaced. The main house, with the exception of the rear side, lies mainly in a gravel bed.
