Inleiding
MOLENROMP De als bergmolen uitgevoerde ronde stenen molen uit een onbekend bouwjaar was ingericht als korenmolen. De molen is onttakeld, waarbij het wiekenkruis, de kap en het gaande werk werden verwijderd en de belt werd afgegraven. De molenromp kreeg een functie als opslagruimte, maar heeft thans geen functie meer en ligt inmiddels in een nieuwbouwwijk. De molenromp ligt op het erf achter een niet beschermingswaardig pakhuis en is slecht zichtbaar in een tamelijk dicht bebouwde omgeving.
Omschrijving
De molenromp is een ronde conisch gemetselde bakstenen romp met vijf bouwlagen, welke is voorzien van een plat dak.
Waardering
De molenromp is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege bouwtechnisch-historische waarden als herkenbaar en representatief relict van een ronde stenen korenmolen;
- vanwege cultuurhistorische waarden als onderdeel van de geschiedenis van de graanmaalderijen van Nederland en de industriële ontwikkeling van Noord-Brabant en de plaatselijke geschiedenis;
- vanwege ensemblewaarden in relatie tot het nabij gelegen pakhuis.

Introduction
MILL BODY The round stone mill constructed as a bergmolen from an unknown construction date was fitted out as a corn mill. The mill has been dismantled, whereby the sails, the cap and the working parts were removed and the berm was excavated. The mill body was given a function as storage space, but currently has no function and is now situated in a newly built residential area. The mill body stands on the plot behind a non-protected warehouse and is poorly visible in a fairly densely built environment.
Description
The mill body is a round conically-built brick shell with five storeys, which is provided with a flat roof.
Valuation
The mill body is of general importance:
- on account of construction-technical and historical values as a recognizable and representative relic of a round stone corn mill;
- on account of cultural-historical values as part of the history of grain mills in the Netherlands and the industrial development of North Brabant and local history;
- on account of ensemble values in relation to the nearby warehouse.
