Inleiding
Vrijstaande DUIVENTOREN gebouwd omstreeks 1933, behorende bij het complex Nieuw Rhodenrijs. Het object is achter in de tuin van het landhuis gesitueerd, naast de voormalige tennisbaan. In de traditionalistische vormentaal sluit de duiventoren aan bij de overige gebouwde elementen op het landgoed.
Omschrijving
Duiventoren opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een cirkelvormig grondvlak. De duiventoren loopt naar boven taps toe en wordt afgedekt door een rieten kegeldakje. Aan de zijde van het landhuis bevindt zich in de schacht van het object een rondboogingang (deur verdwenen) waarboven een raampje.
Waardering
Duiventoren van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische en typologische waarde, alsmede vanwege de ensemblewaarden als historisch-functioneel onderdeel van het complex Nieuw Rhodenrijs.
