Inleiding
GARAGE met aangrenzende POORTDOORGANG naar het achterterrein behorend tot het complex Nieuw-Rhodenrijs, in 1933 in traditionalistische trant gebouwd naar ontwerp van architect P.C. Pouderoyen. De garage is oost-westelijk gesitueerd in het verlengde van de oprijlaan en heeft voor de garage een ommuurde parkeerplaats. De garage wordt aan de zuidzijde door middel van de poortdoorgang verbonden met de dienst- en gastenvleugel van het landhuis.
Omschrijving
De garage is met een inwendige betonconstructie op een rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken met een bouwlaag en een kapverdieping onder een met riet bedekt schilddak. De gevels sluiten zich aan bij het landhuis door de toepassing van handvormbaksteen. Aan de westzijde bevinden zich onder een ver uitkragende betonnen luifel drie brede houten garagedeuren met drieledige bovenlichten en cassetten in de deurvlakken. In de kap bevinden zich driehoekige dakkapellen met V-vormige roedenverdeling. Aan de achterzijde heeft de garage op de begane grond drie dubbele kruisvensters, op de verdieping alleen een kleine driehoekige dakkapel. De poortdoorgang naar het achterterrein is overkapt en heeft aan de voor- en achterzijde massieve dubbele geprofileerde houten poortdeuren met decoratief smeedijzeren hang- en sluitwerk. In de doorgang bevindt zich links een eenvoudige deur naar de garage en rechts een deur naar de dienst- en gastenvleugel van het aangrenzende landhuis.

GARAGE with adjacent GATE PASSAGE to the rear grounds belonging to the complex Nieuw-Rhodenrijs, built in 1933 in traditionalist style according to the design of architect P.C. Pouderoyen. Description
The garage is erected with an internal reinforced concrete structure on a rectangular floor plan with one storey and a loft storey under a hipped roof covered with reed thatch. The facades conform to the manor house through the application of handmade brick. On the west side are located under a far projecting concrete canopy three wide wooden garage doors with three-part fanlights and cassettes in the door panels. In the roof are triangular roof dormers with V-shaped glazing bars. On the rear side the garage has on the ground floor three double cross windows, on the upper floor only a small triangular roof dormer. The gate passage to the rear grounds is roofed over and has on the front and rear sides massive double profiled wooden gate doors with decorative wrought-iron hinges and fastenings. In the passage on the left is a simple door to the garage and on the right a door to the service and guest wing of the adjacent manor house.
