KOETSHUIS, deel uitmakend van het COMPLEX 'De Jongenjoris'.
Omschrijving
Koetshuis, opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond in hout en baksteen, van een bouwlaag en een kapverdieping onder een met pannen gedekt zadeldak. De voorgevel bevat in het midden een dubbele opgeklampte deur met decoratieve smeedijzeren gehengen en diagonale latten. Rondom de deuren is de pui opgetrokken in van metselwerk voorzien houten vakwerk. Links en rechts bevindt zich in het midden een kruisvenster. Rondom de vensters zijn de vakken voorzien van siermetselwerk. Ter hoogte van de verdieping is de voorgevel bekleed met verticale latten en decoratief afgewerkt. In het midden bevindt zich een puntvormig luik met diagonaal lattenwerk. Het overstekende dak is in de top voorzien van decoratief houtsnijwerk. De zuidelijke zijgevel, opgetrokken in hout boven een gemetselde basis, bevat links van het midden een staldeur met bovenlicht. Ter hoogte van de verdieping bevindt zich een luik. Hierboven is de dakrand voorzien van een kleine zadeldakvormige opbouw. Ter hoogte van de zijgevels is de dakgoot voorzien van decoratieve boeiborden. De noordelijke zijgevel is min of meer identiek aan de zuidelijke zijgevel, zij het dat de gevelindeling is gespiegeld. De achtergevel, opgetrokken in hout boven een gemetselde basis, bevat op de begane grond twee kleine tweeledige vensters en ter hoogte van de verdieping een - niet oorspronkelijke - deur.

Koetshuis, als historisch-functioneel onderdeel behorend bij het complex 'De Jongenjoris', opgetrokken in Chalet-stijl en gebouwd kort na 1878, van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische, typologische en ensemblewaarde, alsmede wegens de situationele en beeldbepalende waarde binnen het (nog) pre-stedelijke karakter van de lintbebouwing aan de Grindweg.

Coachhouse, constructed on a rectangular floor plan in wood and brick, of one storey and a roof space storey under a gabled roof covered with tiles. The front elevation contains in the centre a paired clamped door with decorative wrought-iron hinges and diagonal slats. Around the doors the wall is constructed in half-timbering with brickwork. To the left and right in the centre is a cross window. Around the windows the bays are provided with decorative brickwork. At the level of the storey the front elevation is clad with vertical slats and finished decoratively. In the centre is a pointed shutter with diagonal latticework. The overhanging roof is provided at the apex with decorative woodcarving. The southern side elevation, constructed in wood above a brick base, contains to the left of the centre a stall door with fanlight. At the level of the storey is a shutter. Above this the eave is provided with a small gabled roof-shaped structure. At the level of the side elevations the roof gutter is provided with decorative barge boards. The northern side elevation is more or less identical to the southern side elevation, except that the elevation division is mirrored. The rear elevation, constructed in wood above a brick base, contains at ground level two small two-part windows and at the level of the storey a - non-original - door.

Coachhouse, as a historically-functional part belonging to the complex 'De Jongenjoris', constructed in Chalet style and built shortly after 1878, of general importance by virtue of cultural-historical, architectural-historical, typological and ensemble value, as well as on account of its situational and image-defining value within the still pre-urban character of the linear ribbon development along the Grindweg.
