Omschrijving onderdeel 6: BRUG EN HEK NAAR VOORPLEIN.
Enigszins trapeziumvormige brug met houten plankier, aan de laanzijde rustend op een betonnen en voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang zijnde keermuur en aan het voorplein rustend op een bakstenen keermuur, die tevens het fundament is van het monumentale 18de-eeuwse toegangshek naar het voorplein. De brug is voorzien van een eenvoudige smeedijzeren balustrade. De bakstenen rechthoekige hekpijlers onder afdekplaat, waarop een hardstenen wapenleeuw met links het wapen van Nassau La lecq en rechts van De Geer. De pijlers zwenken naar onderen kwartcirkelvormig naar buiten uit en eindigen in een pijlervormig eindstuk. De wapenleeuwen werden geplaatst in de tijd van Willem Carel de Geer, gehuwd met Isabella Rijksgravin van Nassau la lecq die de buitenplaats in 1801 van zijn moeder Theodora van Haeften erfde.

Description
Description component 6: BRIDGE AND GATE TO FORECOURT.
A somewhat trapezoidal bridge with wooden planking, resting on the lane side on a concrete and for the purposes of preservation of secondary importance retaining wall and on the forecourt resting on a brick retaining wall, which also serves as the foundation of the monumental 18th-century access gate to the forecourt. The bridge is provided with a simple wrought-iron balustrade. The brick rectangular gate piers under coping, upon which a hard stone heraldic lion with on the left the coat of arms of Nassau La Lecq and on the right that of De Geer. The piers curve outward in a quarter-circle towards the base and end in a pier-shaped terminal piece. The heraldic lions were placed at the time of Willem Carel de Geer, married to Isabella Countess of Nassau La Lecq who inherited the country house in 1801 from his mother Theodora van Haeften.
