Inleiding
BAKHUIS, behorend bij een langgevelboerderij. Het bakhuis is opgetrokken in ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant en dateert uit XVIIIB. Het ligt terzijde van de boerderij met de nok haaks erop.
Omschrijving
Bakhuis op rechthoekige plattegrond onder zadeldak met wolfeinden, gedekt met gesmoorde muldenpannen. De schuine gevelvlakken hebben boven de daklijn uitstekende rollagen en aanzetstenen. Op het linker uiteinde van de nok een gemetselde schoorsteen. Handvormbaksteen boven gepleisterde plint met hoekversiering. De segmentboogvormig afgesloten ingang met opgeklampte deur zonder kozijn bevindt zich in de korte, naar het woonhuis toegewende gevel. Voorts bouwsporen. In de geveltop een klein venster met kruisroeden. De lange gevel links heeft twee vensters met 20-ruits schuiframen en dubbele luiken; die van het linker venster met maansikkelvormige lichtsleuven. Strekken boven, rollagen onder de vensters. Staafankers. De korte gevel aan de straatzijde heeft een venster met 12-ruits schuifraam en dubbele luiken. In de geveltop een ijzeren lunetvenster met twee gebogen roeden en rollagen. Staafankers. De andere lange gevel wordt aan het oog onttrokken door een aanbouw uit cementsteen onder lessenaardak (XXa). Daarin o.a. een vierruits draairaam met luik. De plint en de onderdorpels van de kozijnen zijn donkergrijs, de kozijnen en ramen crême, de deur en de luiken standgroen geschilderd.
Waardering
Het bakhuis uit XVIIIB, behorend bij een langgevelboerderij is van algemeen belang. Het pand heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een bakhuis bij een grote boerderij in Oost-Brabant. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de in- en uitwendig gaaf behouden hoofdstructuur en het traditionele materiaalgebruik. Het heeft samen met de bijbehorende boerderij, aangebouwde schuur, waterput en erfbeplanting ensemblewaarde. Het bakhuis is straatbeeldbepalend.

BAKEHOUSE, belonging to a long-gabled farmhouse. The bakehouse is built in traditional craft manner and dates from the second half of the 18th century. It lies to the side of the farmhouse with the ridge perpendicular to it.

Bakehouse on rectangular plan under gabled roof with half-hipped ends, covered with dulled moulded tiles. Above the roofline the sloping gable faces have protruding roll mouldings and setting stones. On the left end of the ridge is a brick chimney. Handform brickwork above rendered plinth with corner ornamentation. The segmental arch-shaped entrance with fastened door without frame is located in the short gable facing the dwelling house. Furthermore building traces. In the gable top a small window with cross-panes. The long facade on the left has two windows with 20-pane sash windows and double shutters; the left window's with crescent-shaped light slits. Stretchers above, roll mouldings below the windows. Rod anchors. The short gable facing the street has a window with 12-pane sash window and double shutters. In the gable top an iron lunette window with two curved panes and roll mouldings. Rod anchors. The other long facade is concealed from view by an extension in cement block under lean-to roof (first half of the 20th century). In it among others a four-pane casement window with shutter. The plinth and the undersills of the frames are dark grey, the frames and windows cream, the door and shutters standard green painted.
Valuation
The bakehouse from the second half of the 18th century, belonging to a long-gabled farmhouse, is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as an example of a bakehouse at a large farmhouse in East Brabant. It has architectural-historical value because of the internally and externally sound main structure and traditional material use. It has ensemble value together with the associated farmhouse, adjoining barn, well and site planting. The bakehouse is street-scene-determining.
