Omschrijving onderdeel 2: Schop annex bakhuis
Inleiding
SCHOP annex BAKHUIS met koestal, daterend uit XVII en nadien gewijzigd. Het schop is opgetrokken in Ambachtelijk-traditionele trant en gelegen terzijde van de bijbehorende kortgevelboerderij op een enigszins verhoogd erf met fruitbomen en eiken. Het maakt deel uit van de bebouwing van de buurtschap Plein.
Omschrijving
Terzijde van de boerderij staat met de nok evenwijdig aan de boerderij een schop op langwerpige rechthoekige plattegrond met koestal en bakhuis onder schilddak, gedekt met rode en gesmoorde Hollandse pannen, maar vroeger met riet. Deels opgetrokken uit oranje-gele IJsselsteen. In de lange, naar de boerderij gekeerde gevel bevinden zich drie twaalfdelige gietijzeren lunetvensters met stervormige tracering (XIXd) en een deur. De ingang bevindt zich in de korte gevel aan de achterzijde. Inwendig is er een afgescheiden ruimte met een bakoven met ijzeren ovenluik. Het grootste deel van het schop wordt ingenomen door een koestal. Van de oorspronkelijk twee eiken dekbalkgebinten met schoren is er een bewaard gebleven. Op de dekbalk twee eiken driehoeksspanten met spruitbalk en geschoorde gordingen. Nokgording. Datering XVII, gewijzigd XIXd.
Waardering
Het schop annex bakhuis, in oorsprong daterend uit XVII en gewijzigd in XIXd, is van algemeen belang. Het object heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociaal-economische ontwikkeling, als voorbeeld van een schop met bakhuis als onderdeel van een zich in de loop der eeuwen uitbreidend boerderijcomplex in de Meierei. Het heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de in- en uitwendig gaaf behouden hoofdstructuur en het traditionele materiaalgebruik alsmede vanwege onderdelen van het interieur. In samenhang met de bijbehorende kortgevelboerderij en de traditionele erfbeplanting heeft het schop grote ensemblewaarde. Het object is straatbeeldbepalend en mede door zijn ligging aan de driesprong van wegen karakteristiek voor de open agrarische bebouwing van de buurtschap Plein.

BARN annex BAKEHOUSE with cowshed, dating from the 17th century and subsequently altered. The barn is erected in traditional artisanal style and situated beside the associated short-gable farmhouse on a somewhat elevated farmyard with fruit trees and oaks. It forms part of the buildings of the hamlet Plein.
Description
Beside the farmhouse, with the ridge parallel to the farmhouse, stands a barn on an elongated rectangular floor plan with cowshed and bakehouse under a hipped roof, covered with red and dulled Dutch tiles, but formerly with thatch. Partly erected from orange-yellow IJssel brick. In the long gable facing the farmhouse are three twelve-pane cast-iron lunette windows with star-shaped tracery (19th century, second half) and a door. The entrance is in the short gable at the rear. Internally there is a separate space with a baking oven with iron oven door. The greater part of the barn is occupied by a cowshed. Of the originally two oak collar-tie trusses with shores, one has been preserved. On the collar-tie two oak king-post trusses with wind strut and braced purlins. Ridge purlin. Dating 17th century, altered 19th century second half.
