Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 1: krukhuisboerderij
Inleiding
Staafankers.
Inwendig is de oorspronkelijke indeling grotendeels bewaard gebleven. In het bedrijfsgedeelte staan vier eiken ankerbalkgebinten, waarop driehoeksspanten. Schouw met schildpadtegeltjes. Paneeldeuren.
Waardering

Description
Description component 1: cruck-frame farmhouse
Introduction
Former CRUCK-FRAME FARMHOUSE, originally dating from 1681 and erected in traditional-artisanal style. Extension to cruck house ca. 1910. Construction of a new residential house (no. 30), directly in front of the farmhouse, and conversion of the latter as a stable ca. 1960.
Description
The former single-storey farmhouse on an L-shaped ground plan is partly erected above a plastered plinth in hand-moulded brick and machine-made brick in English bond. The composite gabled roof with half-hipped ends is covered with corrugated sheet. On the division of the former residential and commercial section a brick chimney. The front facade is entirely plastered in ashlar. Left of centre the main entrance with a panel door in emphatically artisanal style (ca. 1910) with fanlight with rounded corners. On the left a window with 4-pane sash window, on the right two windows with 6-pane sash windows and double shutters. At attic level centrally against the half-hipped end a window with two casements in shared horizontal frame with central muntin, brick drip moulding. Under the eaves a toothed brick course. The right side of the front house was extended around 1910 and given its own roof, whereby the three-aisled hall-house became a cruck house. The extension is executed in machine-made brick in English bond above a plastered plinth. The front facade was probably plastered at this occasion.
The right gable of the residential section, which projects slightly in front of the commercial section, has two windows with 6-pane sash windows and double shutters. Above the windows segmental relieving arches with roll moulding and heads placed flat. Drip mouldings. At attic level two square small windows with cross muntins. Drip mouldings and roll mouldings. Under the eaves a toothed brick course. Bar anchors. The left gable of the residential section, of purple-red brick in English bond, has an arched barred cellar window and a window with 4-pane sash window, with stone window sill and double shutters. Against the left gable of the commercial section, the lower roof slope of which is slightly raised, a long pig sty under a gabled roof with Dutch tiles in a muted finish (ca. 1900). Eaves with toothed brick course, three arched iron stable windows with grain-ear motif, three arched pig-sty flaps. Stable door and stable window in the short gable. The right gable of the commercial section is, to judge from a kink in the roof plane, also raised somewhat higher on this side, namely in purple-brown three-course brick. Blocked pig-sty flaps, 5 concrete 6-pane stable windows, a stable door. On the corner with the rear gable a brick buttress. The rear gable, partly of machine-made brick, has in the centre double divided doors with a pane under a concrete lintel. On either side at unequal heights large windows with cross muntins. At attic level a hay door. Bar anchors.
Internally the original layout is largely preserved. In the commercial section stand four oak collar-tie trusses with triangular roof trusses. Chimney with tortoiseshell tiles. Panel doors.
Valuation
The former cruck-frame farmhouse from 1681 is of general importance. The building has cultural-historical value as a distinctive expression of socio-economic development, as an example of a farmyard complex expanding and rejuvenating over time. The building has architectural-historical value because of the internally and externally well-preserved main structure and the traditional use of materials as well as because of components of the interior. Together with the associated detached barn it has ensemble value because of its connection with the historical-spatial development of the village and is a character-defining feature of the street.
