Het westelijk woonblok met 14 woningen is tot stand gekomen op een samengesteld rechthoekig grondplan en opgebouwd uit een hoger opgetrokken middendeel van drie bouwlagen en een kapverdieping in een hoog schilddak met rode pannen en uit een flankerende lagere vleugel aan weerszijden van twee bouwlagen en een kapverdieping in hoog en samengesteld schilddak met rode pannen. De daken hebben gemetselde schoorstenen. Per dakschild aan de voorzijde twee kleine dakkapellen met dubbel draairaam en hijsbalk. Het woonblok heeft een naar het binnenterrein toe licht concave rooilijn. De gevels zijn in staand- en kruisverband gemetseld in een roodbruine baksteen. Het lage trasraam is uitgevoerd in een blauwpaarse steen. De gevels hebben een eenvoudige houten gootlijst. Het hoge middendeel van de voorgevel is vier traveeën breed. In de twee smalle traveeën bevinden zich de toegangen met houten deur met vierruits deurlicht, drieruits bovenlicht en zijlicht. De vensters op de verdiepingen boven de toegangen hebben drie gekoppelde drieruits ramen; de brede vensters in het midden hebben drie gekoppelde zesruits vensters. De beide lagere voorgevels van de vleugels hebben op de geknikte overgang met het hogere middendeel een toegangsportiek met drie houten toegangsdeuren met vierruits deurlicht en drieruits bovenlicht. Hierboven een klein balkon met gemetselde borstwering. Hierbij een balkondeur met bovenlicht en zijvenster. De verdere voorgevels zijn drie traveeën breed en hebben grote twaalfruits vensters en per bouwlaag een zesruits venster bij de hoek met de zijgevel. De zijgevels zijn aan de westzijde hoger opgetrokken, hebben derhalve een verloop in de gootlijst en zijn vier traveeën breed. In het midden bevinden zich twee toegangsdeuren met vierruits deurlicht en zijlicht. De overige vensters hebben vierruits ramen; met uitzondering van het venster nabij de hoek met de Zaanhof waarin ook een zesruits verdeling. De achtergevel heeft gekoppelde balkons met brede balkondeuren met bovenlichten en verder vensters met series van drie gekoppelde of met enkele schuiframen.
