Omschrijving onderdeel 7: ZUIL op PIEDESTAL behorende tot de buitenplaats Nieuw Amelisweerd.
Links van een noordoostelijke zichtas vanaf het wandelpad langs de Rijn richting het huis staat op een eenvoudig hardstenen voetstuk een hardstenen zuil zonder kapiteel. De zuil is vermoedelijk in de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw als tuinornament geplaatst, maar is vermoedelijk van oudere datum.
Waardering
De ZUIL op PIEDESTAL behorende tot de buitenplaats Nieuw Amelisweerd is van algemeen belang:

Description of component 7: COLUMN on PEDESTAL belonging to the country estate Nieuw Amelisweerd.
To the left of a northeastern sight line from the walking path along the Rhine towards the house stands on a simple stone base a stone column without a capital. The column is presumed to have been placed as a garden ornament in the second half of the 19th century, but is presumed to be of older date.
