Omschrijving onderdeel 6: TUINVAZEN op PIEDESTAL behorende tot de buitenplaats Nieuw Amelisweerd.
Het begin van de zogenaamde sneeuwklokjeslaan, een zichtlaan in de as van het huis, wordt gemarkeerd door een stel tuinvazen op piëdestal. De vazen zijn vormgegeven naar klassiek (Grieks/Romeins) model en wit geschilderd. Ze zijn gegoten van ijzer of beton. De piëdestals op rechthoekige grondslag hebben rechthoekig ingezwenkte hoeken en verdiepte velden, ze zijn van beton en eveneens wit geschilderd. De piëdestals zijn oorspronkelijk mogelijk hoger geweest en horen van oorsprong vermoedelijk niet bij de vazen. Vazen en piëdestals dateren uit de 19de eeuw.

Description component 6: GARDEN URNS on PEDESTAL belonging to the country estate Nieuw Amelisweerd.
The beginning of the so-called snowdrop lane, a sight line in the axis of the house, is marked by a set of garden urns on pedestal. The urns are shaped according to a classical (Greek/Roman) model and white-painted. They are cast from iron or concrete. The pedestals on a rectangular ground plan have rectangularly chamfered corners and recessed fields, they are of concrete and likewise white-painted. The pedestals were originally possibly higher and are presumed not originally to belong to the urns. Urns and pedestals date from the 19th century.
