Omschrijving onderdeel 6
STUW, 19de eeuw of ouder; evenwijdig naast de oprit aan de westzijde ligt een eenvoudige sluis met stuw waarvan de grachtwanden in mergel zijn uitgevoerd; dit systeem regelt de waterinlaat vanuit de Onderzied via de buitengracht in de binnengracht. Over de sluis ligt een houten brugdek om toegang te verschaffen tot de westelijke nieuwe siertuin; de brug heeft smeedijzeren leuningen, XXa. De mergelstenen grachtwanden sluiten op het bruglichaam aan.
De STUW is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege
- de ouderdom;
- als historisch en functioneel onderdeel van de waterhuishouding van de historische buitenplaats;
- vanwege de industrieel-archeologische waarde.

WEIR, 19th century or older; running parallel next to the ramp on the west side is a simple lock with weir of which the moat walls are executed in marl; this system regulates the water inlet from the Onderzied via the outer moat into the inner moat. Over the lock lies a wooden bridge deck to provide access to the western new ornamental garden; the bridge has wrought-iron railings, early 20th century. The marl-stone moat walls connect to the bridge structure.
The WEIR is of general cultural-historical importance because of

- as a historical and functional component of the water management of the historic country estate;
- because of its industrial-archaeological value.
