Omschrijving
Pand op rechthoekige grondslag, uitgevoerd in baksteen en voorzien van een overstekend schilddak gedekt met rode Hollandse pannen. Sober, maar zorgvuldig gedetailleerd.
Waardering
Het bijhuis van De Hartel, in 1921-1922 gebouwd, is van algemeen belang, vanwege
- de zorgvuldige vormgeving, afgestemd op maar desalniettemin ondergeschikt aan het landhuis (dat immers het hoofdmonument van de plek is);
- de schoonheid;
- de samenhang met landhuis en tuin.
