Aan de rand van de bebouwing van de kern Reuver staat boerderij Bergerhof. Deze carrévormige boerderij dateert uit omstreeks 1860. De boerderij is gebouwd in de stijl van het Traditionalisme.
Omschrijving
De carréboerderij bestaat uit vier vleugels. De westelijke vleugel is de woonhuisvleugel. De oostelijke vleugel was oorspronkelijk de schuurvleugel. In de zuidvleugel aan de straatzijde en de parallelle vleugel aan de noordzijde waren en zijn onder andere als veestallen in gebruik.
De gebouwen tellen een bouwlaag plus dakverdieping. De zadeldaken zijn gedekt met betonpannen. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is baksteen met metselwerk in kruisverband. Hardstenen dorpelstenen.
Kopgevel woonhuisvleugel met vier rechthoekige houten T-vensters. Vensters met strek en hardstenen sluitsteen. Twee kleine rechthoekige keldervensters met natuurstenen omlijsting. In de topgevel een halfronde opening die is dichtgezet met een beschilderd paneel. Vlechtingen als gevelafdekking. In de linkerzijgevel van het woonhuisgedeelte vier rechthoekige houten T-vensters met hardstenen dorpelstenen. In het verlengde van de woonhuisvleugel een bedrijfsvleugel met in de zijgevel rechthoekige betonnen stalvensters van omstreeks 1950.
In het linkerdeel van de voorgevel van de zuidvleugel een segmentboog met hierin een dubbele houten poort.Segmentboog met hardstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen. Boven de poort een sluitsteen met de tekst: PIB ILM 1857. Aan de linkerzijde van de poort is een grote rechthoekige gevelsteen uit 1934 ingemetseld bij gelegenheid van het bezoek van bisschop Lemmens van Roermond aan de boerderij.
In het middendeel van de voorgevel van de zuidvleugel zes betonnen stalvensters uit omstreeks 1950.
In de kopgevel van de schuurvleugel eveneens een grote segmentboog met hierin een dubbele houten poort. Poort met hardstenen aanzet- en sluitstenen. In de topgevel vlechtingen als muurafdekking. Blinde rechterzijgevel van de schuurvleugel.
Waardering
De gesloten BOERDERIJ Bergerhof is door zijn type en omvang van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkeling van de boerderij in de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw tot een moderne hofboerderij. Hofboerderij in de betekenis van een boerderijtype, waarbij de verschillende afdelingen in gesloten groepering een onoverdekte binnenplaats omringen. Hierin schuilt tevens haar architectuurhistorische waarde, die verder wordt bepaald door een esthetisch hoog niveau, haar ruime decoratie, het gebruikte bouwmateriaal en het karakteristieke entreegedeelte.
De boerderij is tenslotte van algemeen belang vanwege de architectonische en cultuurhistorische waarden, op grond van de redelijke mate van architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur en de zeldzaamheid.

At the edge of the built-up area of the centre of Reuver stands the farmhouse Bergerhof. This courtyard-plan farmhouse dates from around 1860. The farmhouse was built in the Traditionalist style.
Description
The courtyard-plan farmhouse consists of four wings. The western wing is the residential wing. The eastern wing was originally the barn wing. In the southern wing at the street side and the parallel wing on the north side were and are used, among other things, as cattle sheds.
The buildings comprise one storey plus attic storey. The gabled roofs are covered with concrete tiles. The applied building material is brick with mortar joint pattern in cross bond. Hard stone threshold stones.
Gable end of residential wing with four rectangular wooden T-windows. Windows with stone band and hard stone lintel. Two small rectangular cellar windows with natural stone surround. In the roof gable a semicircular opening which is blocked with a painted panel. Wattlework as gable cladding. In the left side gable of the residential part four rectangular wooden T-windows with hard stone threshold stones. Adjacent to the residential wing a business wing with in the side gable rectangular concrete stable windows from around 1950.
In the left part of the front facade of the southern wing a segmental arch with within it a double wooden door. Segmental arch with hard stone springing and lintel stones. Above the door a lintel stone with the text: PIB ILM 1857. On the left side of the door a large rectangular facade stone from 1934 has been set into the mortar on the occasion of the visit of bishop Lemmens of Roermond to the farmhouse.
In the centre part of the front facade of the southern wing six concrete stable windows from around 1950.

Valuation
The enclosed FARMHOUSE Bergerhof is, by its type and scale, of cultural-historical value as a distinctive expression of a socio-economic and typological development of the farmhouse in the second half of the 19th century into a modern courtyard farmhouse. Courtyard farmhouse in the sense of a farmhouse type, in which the various sections in closed grouping surround an unroofed courtyard. In this lies also its architectural-historical value, which is further determined by an aesthetic high level, its extensive decoration, the building material used and the characteristic entrance section.
The farmhouse is finally of general importance owing to architectural and cultural-historical values, on the grounds of the reasonable degree of architectural integrity of the exterior and its rarity.
