Omschrijving onderdeel 1: HOOFDGEBOUW (Eyckenlust).
Deels op oudere fundamenten gebouwd hoofdgebouw bestaande uit een blokvormig huis van twee bouwlagen uit 1812, vernieuwd tot het huidige aanzien in ca. 1870 en een aanpalende L-vormige vleugel (bijgebouw) van één bouwlaag vermoedelijk uit 1658 (zie gevelsteen); dit laatste deel is gebouwd op oudere fundamenten. Bij de restauratie in 1977 is de voorgevel van het hoofdgebouw iets gewijzigd door het verwijderen van de borstwering en het plaatsen van kroon- en frontonlijsten. Het hoofdgebouw is overkapt door een met rode Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt schilddak waarop een schoorsteen en dakruiter met luidklok. Ter hoogte van de onderdorpels van de vensters lopen natuurstenen cordonlijsten en de gevel wordt afgesloten door een geprofileerde goot(kroon)lijst. De symmetrisch ingedeelde, gepleisterde voorgevel van zes traveeën heeft een middenrisaliet van twee traveeën, dat met een halve verdieping boven de gootlijst uitsteekt en wordt bekroond door een driezijdig fronton met wijzerplaat/uurwerk. In de risaliet bevinden zich twee openslaande deuren en twee verdiepingsvensters en twee mezzaninovensters. De deuren en vensters, alle met gedeelde bovenlichten die op de begane grond een roedenverdeling hebben, zijn gevat in geprofileerde omlijstingen met kuif. De toegangsdeur bestaande uit een dubbele paneeldeur met bovenlicht is excentrisch in de gevel geplaatst. Voor het huis, aan weerszijden van de middenrisaliet staat een stel 19de-eeuwse SOKKELS tapstoelopend met decoratie in relief aan de voorkant en een platte achterkant. In de zijgeve; (noordwest) is één vensteras met gelijkvormig venster aan de voorgevel. De witgeschilderde achtergevel heeft een onregelmatig aanzien met verschillende vensters en uitbouwen. De deels bepleisterde en witgeschilderde vleugel van handgevormde baksteen is gedekt onder met rode Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekte zadeldaken met wolfseinde; dakkapellen met driezijdig fronton. In de bouwmassa aan de voorzijde is een toren opgenomen met een met leien in maasdekking voorziene, achtkantige spits. De gevel aan de voorpleinzijde wordt geleed door zesruits schuifvensters en inrijdeuren. De regelmatig ingedeelde achtergevel aan de grachtzijde heeft rechts een driezijdige uitbouw (erker) met achtruits vensters en deuren met rondom een houten trans (omgang). Deels onderkelderd.
Waardering
HOOFDGEBOUW (Eyckenlust) is van algemeen belang:

Description component 1: MAIN BUILDING (Eyckenlust).
Main building partly built on older foundations consisting of a blocky house of two storeys from 1812, renewed to its present appearance around 1870 and an adjoining L-shaped wing (outbuilding) of one storey presumed to be from 1658 (see façade stone); this latter part is built on older foundations. During the restoration in 1977 the front façade of the main building was slightly modified by the removal of the parapet and the placement of cornice and pediment mouldings. The main building is covered by a hipped roof tiled with red Old Dutch tiles on which sits a chimney and a roof turret with bell. At the level of the window sills natural stone cordon mouldings run and the façade is finished with a profiled gutter (cornice) moulding. The symmetrically divided, plastered front façade of six bays has a central risalit of two bays, which projects by half a storey above the gutter line and is crowned by a three-sided pediment with clock face/timepiece. In the risalit are two opening doors and two first-floor windows and two mezzanine windows. The doors and windows, all with divided fanlights which on the ground floor have glazing bars, are set in profiled mouldings with hood. The access door consisting of a double panelled door with fanlight is placed eccentrically in the façade. In front of the house, on either side of the central risalit stands a pair of 19th-century BOLLARDS tapering with relief decoration on the front and a flat back. In the side façade (north-west) is one window row with similar window to the front façade. The whitewashed rear façade has an irregular appearance with various windows and outbuildings. The partly plastered and whitewashed wing of handmade brick is covered with red Old Dutch tile covered gabled roofs with half-hipped roof; roof dormers with three-sided pediment. In the building mass on the front side a tower is incorporated with an octagonal spire fitted with slates in overlapping tile pattern. The façade on the forecourt side is articulated by six-ruit sash windows and carriage doors. The regularly divided rear façade on the canal side has on the right a three-sided projection (bay window) with eight-ruit windows and doors with all around a wooden transom (passage). Partly cellared.

MAIN BUILDING (Eyckenlust) is of general importance:
