Inleiding.
Achter de Annakapel staat op het kerkhofje een CALVARIEKRUIS. Het Neogotische kruis dateert uit ca. 1890.
Omschrijving.
Het kruis staat op een rechthoekige hardstenen sokkel waarop "Memento mori" staat gebeiteld. Het kruis is gegoten in gietijzer met rijk neogotisch filigrainwerk met tracering en kruisbloemen. Op de bredere voet is in een rondboogomlijsting een laagreliëf opgenomen. Hierop is de Kruisafname van Christus afgebeeld, vrij naar het schilderij van Rubens. Waardering.
Het Calvariekruis is van algemeen belang.
