Omschrijving onderdeel 6: KLEEDGEBOUW.
Inleiding
Het KLEEDGEBOUW als onderdeel van het complex "De Eder Kuil" uit 1936 naar ontwerp van Weener, is gelegen aan de noordzijde van het terrein en is apart toegankelijk vanaf de Burg. Bootlaan. Het kleedgebouw is gesitueerd aan een voorpleintje, terwijl het met de achter- en zijgevels tegen een helling is gelegen. Het gebouw is volledig uitgevoerd in de stijl van het Nieuwe Bouwen met toepassing van betonskeletbouw.
Omschrijving
Het kleedgebouw op L-vormige plattegrond bestaat uit een noordelijk kleedkamergedeelte en een zuidelijke toiletinrichting die worden gescheiden door een gang. Het kleedkamergedeelte ten noorden van de gang bevat links de dameskleedkamer en rechts de herenkleedkamer. De toiletinrichting ten zuiden van de gang bevat een bergruimte; een herentoilet met een privaat en twee urinoirs; en een damestoilet met twee privaten. Het kleedgebouw heeft een bouwlaag onder een luifeldak met groot overstek op betonnen consoles. De betonnen gevels zijn gepleisterd met contrasterende zwarte plint. De noord- en zuidgevels zijn verlengd om als keermuur te fungeren. De voorgevel (westgevel) van zowel de dames- als de herenkleedkamer heeft een houten paneeldeur met ruit en een groot raam met roedenverdeling. Tussen de deur en het raam van de dameskleedkamer is nog de metalen belettering aanwezig ("dames"). De gevel is versierd met rode blokjes aan weerszijden van de deuren. De voorgevel van de toiletinrichting heeft een open karakter en is voor 2/3 gesloten. De voorgevel bevat nog de metalen belettering van de "dames" en de decoratie van rode blokjes. De privaten worden afgesloten met een houten paneeldeur met ruiten. De twee herenurinoirs zijn vervaardigd van bruin mat geglazuurde keramiek. De gang loopt onder de helling achter het gebouw door en is bekleed met beton.
Waardering
Het kleedgebouw is van algemene architectonische, cultuurhistorische en stedenbouwkundige waarde:
- als voorbeeld van een kleedgebouw in de vernieuwende stijl en bouwtechniek van het Nieuwe Bouwen en vanwege de verzorgde detaillering;
- als goed voorbeeld van een kleedgebouw in groene setting;

Introduction
The CHANGING ROOM BUILDING as part of the complex "De Eder Kuil" from 1936 designed by Weener, is located on the north side of the site and is separately accessible from Burg. Bootlaan. The changing room building is situated at a forecourt, while its rear and side facades are against a slope. The building is entirely executed in the style of Nieuwe Bouwen with application of concrete skeleton construction.
Description
The changing room building on an L-shaped floor plan consists of a northern changing room section and a southern toilet facility separated by a corridor. The changing room section to the north of the corridor contains on the left the ladies' changing room and on the right the gentlemen's changing room. The toilet facility to the south of the corridor contains a storage room; a gentlemen's toilet with one WC and two urinals; and a ladies' toilet with two WCs. The changing room building has one storey under a canopy roof with large overhang on concrete consoles. The concrete facades are plastered with contrasting black plinth. The north and south facades are extended to function as retaining walls. The front facade (west facade) of both the ladies' and gentlemen's changing room has a wooden panelled door with glazing and a large window with glazing bars. Between the door and window of the ladies' changing room the metal lettering "dames" is still present. The facade is decorated with red tiles on either side of the doors. The front facade of the toilet facility has an open character and is closed for 2/3. The front facade still contains the metal lettering of the "dames" and the decoration of red tiles. The WCs are closed off with a wooden panelled door with panes. The two gentlemen's urinals are made of brown matt-glazed ceramics. The corridor runs under the slope behind the building and is lined with concrete.
