De bij de historische buitenplaats Clingendael behorende TUINMUUR en KAS. Nabij het poortgebouw aan de voorzijde van het huis ligt een midden 19de-eeuwse (mogelijk oudere) tuinmuur van baksteen. Op de topografische kaart van 1874 staat de muur ingetekend. Loodrecht daarop staat een kas (zie kadastrale kaart 1895).
Omschrijving
De eenvoudige bakstenen tuinmuur wordt geleed door lisenen en is deels afgebroken of ingestort. De muur vormde oorspronkelijk de noordwestelijke begrenzing van de moestuin ten oosten van het hoofdgebouw en dateert vermoedelijk uit de 19de eeuw. De eenvoudige bakstenen muurkas, waarvan de achterzijde geleed wordt door lisenen, ligt langs de noordoostelijke zijde van de voormalige moestuin en dateert in zijn huidige vorm vermoedelijk uit de eerste helft van de twintigste eeuw. De kas wordt thans gedekt door golfplaat en is in gebruik als atelier. De westelijke kopgevel is aan de nieuwe bestemming aangepast. In de oostelijke kopgevel bevindt zich een houten deur met luifel erboven.
Waardering
De tuinmuur met kas is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur-, architectuurhistorische en ensemblewaarde:

The GARDEN WALL and GREENHOUSE belonging to the historic country estate Clingendael. Near the gatehouse at the front of the house lies a mid-19th-century (possibly older) garden wall of brickwork. The wall is depicted on the topographic map of 1874. Perpendicular to it stands a greenhouse (see cadastral map 1895).
Description
The simple brickwork garden wall is articulated by pilasters and is partly demolished or collapsed. The wall originally formed the northwestern boundary of the kitchen garden to the east of the main building and is presumed to date from the 19th century. The simple brickwork wall greenhouse, whose rear side is articulated by pilasters, lies along the northeastern side of the former kitchen garden and is presumed to date in its current form from the first half of the twentieth century. The greenhouse is currently covered with corrugated sheet metal and is in use as a studio. The western gable wall has been adapted to the new use. In the eastern gable wall there is a wooden door with a canopy above it.
