De bij de historische buitenplaats Clingendael behorende gietijzeren LANTAARNPAAL op het voorplein voor het huis, waarschijnlijk daterende uit het eind van de 19de / begin van de 20ste eeuw.
Omschrijving
De lantaarnpaal bestaat uit een fors, samengesteld basement met een geprofileerde onder- en bovenlijst en een zich verjongende paal met cannelures en een fijn gedetailleerde, octogonale lantaarn. Deze verbreedt zich naar boven toe en is voorzien van gietijzeren randdecoraties en een vlam ter bekroning. De op het basement aangebrachte naam van de gieterij die de lantaarnpaal vervaardigde is niet meer leesbaar.
Waardering
De lantaarnpaal is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuur-, cultuurhistorische en de ensemblewaarde:

Description
The street lamp standard consists of a substantial, composite base with moulded lower and upper edges and a tapering standard with fluting and a finely detailed, octagonal lamp. This widens upward and is fitted with cast-iron edge decorations and a flame as finial. The name of the foundry that manufactured the street lamp standard, applied to the base, is no longer legible.

The street lamp standard is of general importance on account of its architectural, cultural-historical and ensemble value:
