Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 2 (Heideburen 97) HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG.
Grotendeels in structuur en in detail bewaarde kleinschalige parkaanleg in landschapsstijl uit 1849 naar ontwerp van L.P. Roodbaard, waarin oudere elementen (o.a. ronde vijver met heuvel, beukenboom) zijn opgenomen. In 1942 is het terrein door de aanleg van twee rijkswegen aan de westzijde ingekort en tussen het hoofdgebouw en de ten oosten ervan gelegen tuinmanswoning doorsneden. Doordat de wegen inmiddels zijn vervallen zal de eenheid in 2001-2002 worden hersteld. De aanleg kenmerkt zich door een gevarieerde ruimtelijke opbouw, een patroon van slingerpaden, een slingervijver met heuvel (waarop eertijds een tuinprieel stond) en aanplant bestaande uit eiken, beuken, kastanjes, hulst en fruitbomen.

Description component 2 (Heideburen 97): HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT.
Small-scale landscape-style park layout largely preserved in structure and detail from 1849 to a design by L.P. Roodbaard, incorporating older elements (among others a round pond with mound, beech tree). In 1942 the grounds were reduced by the construction of two highways on the west side and divided between the main building and the gardener's cottage located to the east. As the roads have since been abandoned, the unity will be restored in 2001-2002. The layout is characterised by a varied spatial arrangement, a pattern of winding paths, a winding pond with mound (on which a garden pavilion once stood) and planting consisting of oaks, beeches, chestnuts, holly and fruit trees.
