Inleiding.
Voormalig LEGERINGSGEBOUW, tegenwoordig onderkomen voor asielzoekers, gesitueerd aan de oostelijke rand van het complex.
Het pand is gebouwd in 1941-1942 als een imitatie van de Duits Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant.
Omschrijving.
Middelgroot gebouwentype op rechthoekige grondslag onder een met verbeterde Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak. Topgevels met vlechtingen en tufstenen aanzetblokjes. Het gebouw is na de oorlog gesplitst en heeft een licht getoogde, terugliggende ingang aan elk van de korte zijden. Houten opgeklampte deuren met ijzerbeslag. De vensters in de westelijke lange gevel zijn vergroot; in de oostelijke zijn ze nog origineel. Dakkapellen onder een zinken schilddak.
Waardering.
Het pand is van algemeen belang.

The building was constructed in 1941-1942 as an imitation of the German Craft-traditional building style.
Description.
Medium-sized building type on rectangular ground plan under a gabled roof covered with improved Dutch tiles. Gable ends with wattle and tufa stone plinth blocks. The building was divided after the war and has a slightly arched, recessed entrance on each of the short sides. Wooden clamp-fastened doors with iron fittings. The windows in the western long facade have been enlarged; those in the eastern facade are still original. Roof dormers under a zinc hipped roof.
