Inleiding
Voormalig WC-GEBOUWTJE, behorend tot het boerderijcomplex aan de Polstraat 52 en gelegen noordelijk van het bakhuis en de kleine schuur. Het oorspronkelijk twee wc's bevattende gebouwtje is direct na de Tweede Wereldoorlog gerealiseerd, toen de grote veeschuur als gevolg van de verwoesting van de dorpsschool werd ingericht als school. De toiletpotten zijn niet meer aanwezig.
Omschrijving
Zeer klein gebouwtje op rechthoekige plattegrond, met n bouwlaag en een lessenaarsdak, gedekt met rode muldenpannen. Voorts houten windveren en boven de voorgevel een eenvoudige houten lijst. De gevels gemetseld in baksteen in halfsteens verband. De voorzijde bevat twee door een smalle bakstenen dam gescheiden paneeldeuren met veelruits bovendelen. Deze deuren geven toegang tot de beide van binnen gepleisterde toiletruimten. In de achtergevel twee houten ontluchtingsroosters. Op de achtergevel sluit een bakstenen omranding aan (gierput?).
Waardering
Het object is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als onderdeel van een gaaf bewaard boerderijcomplex, dat weliswaar zijn oude functie heeft verloren, maar opvalt door de volledigheid en specifieke rangschikking van de verschillende gebouwonderdelen en restanten van de vroegere erfaanleg. Voorts van belang als herinnering aan de periode, dat in de grote veeschuur een school gevestigd was. Het heeft historische waarde als inmiddels zeldzaam voorbeeld van een afzijdig op een erf gelegen sanitaire voorziening. Het heeft ensemblewaarden als essentieel onderdeel van een harmonisch geheel, te weten een boerderijcomplex, verder bestaand uit een kortgevelboerderij, een bakhuis, een kleine schuur, een grotere veeschuur, diverse groenelementen en een tuin met hekwerken. Voorts als karakteristiek onderdeel van de (deels) historische bebouwing aan de Polstraat, waar de boerderij en de schuur door hun prominente ligging evenwijdig aan de openbare weg een bijzondere plaats innemen.

Former WC BUILDING, belonging to the farm complex at Polstraat 52 and situated to the north of the bakehouse and the small barn. The small building, originally containing two WCs, was realized shortly after the Second World War, when the large livestock barn was converted into a school as a result of the destruction of the village school. The toilet bowls are no longer present.
Description
Very small building on rectangular floor plan, with one storey and a lean-to roof, covered with red pantiles. Furthermore wooden roof boards and above the front facade a simple wooden moulding. The facades built in brickwork in Flemish bond. The front consists of two panel doors separated by a narrow brick pier with multi-pane upper sections. These doors provide access to the two internally plastered toilet rooms. In the rear facade two wooden ventilation grilles. On the rear facade a brick frame is attached (slurry pit?).
Valuation
The object is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as part of a well-preserved farm complex, which while having lost its original function, stands out for the completeness and specific arrangement of the various building components and remains of the former plot layout. Furthermore of importance as a reminder of the period when a school was housed in the large livestock barn. It has historical value as a now rare example of a sanitary facility situated apart on a plot. It has ensemble values as an essential component of a harmonious whole, namely a farm complex, further consisting of a short-gable farmhouse, a bakehouse, a small barn, a larger livestock barn, various green elements and a garden with fencing.
