Inleiding.
GRAFMONUMENT op het kerkhof achter de Rooms Katholieke kerk Heilige Johannes Geboorte. Het graf ligt in het middenvak van het linkergedeelte van de begraafplaats, dicht achter de kerk.
Omschrijving.
Vrouwenfiguur op een vierkante sokkel. De sokkel zelf is aan de voorzijde voorzien van een draperie in relif met de tekst: "BID VOOR DE ZIEL/ VAN ZALIGER/GOVERDINA VAN DER AA/ OVERLEDEN 27 JULI 1883/ ANTONETTA JOHANNA VAN DER AA/ OVERLEDEN 10 JULI 1889/ E.A. HEER JOHANNES VAN DER AA/ BURGEMEESTER/ GEB 1812 OVERL 5 JULI 1901". Tegen de zijkanten is een kunststenen krans met strik gehangen. De vrouwenfiguur staat tegen een paal geleund.

Female figure on a square base. The base itself is provided on the front with a drapery in relief with the text: "PRAY FOR THE SOUL/ OF THE LATE/ GOVERDINA VAN DER AA/ DIED 27 JULY 1883/ ANTONETTA JOHANNA VAN DER AA/ DIED 10 JULY 1889/ AND THE HONOURABLE JOHANNES VAN DER AA/ BURGEMEESTER/ BORN 1812 DIED 5 JULY 1901". Against the sides an artificial stone wreath with bow is hung. The female figure stands leaning against a pole.
