Centraal op de algemene begraafplaats van Sambeek staat een ongedateerd en anoniem GRAFKRUIS, dat waarschijnlijk uit het eerste kwart van de twintigste eeuw dateert.

Het ajour gietijzeren grafkruis heeft in het centrum een opgebrachte, eveneens gietijzeren afbeelding van de gekruisigde Christus. Op de kruisbalken verder florale motieven, de tekst: "INRI" en enkele engelenkopjes.
Waardering
Het gietijzeren grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de katholieke grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het gietijzeren grafmonument. The openwork cast-iron grave cross has in the centre an applied, likewise cast-iron image of the crucified Christ. On the cross arms further floral motifs, the text: "INRI" and several cherub heads.

The cast-iron grave monument is of general importance. It has cultural-historical value as a special expression of a social and spiritual development, in particular the development of Catholic grave culture, it is also of importance for the typological development of the cast-iron grave monument.
