Centraal op de algemene begraafplaats van Sambeek staat een ongedateerd en anoniem GRAFKRUIS, dat waarschijnlijk uit het eerste kwart van de twintigste eeuw dateert.
Omschrijving
Het ajour gietijzeren grafkruis heeft in het centrum een eveneens gietijzeren corpus van de gekruisigde Christus, met krans met florale motieven. De kruisbalken zijn gesierd met florale motieven en engelen. Op de schacht een uitgespaarde ruimte voor een tekstbord.
Waardering
Het gietijzeren grafmonument is van algemeen belang. The openwork cast-iron grave cross has in the centre a likewise cast-iron corpus of the crucified Christ, with a wreath with floral motifs. The cross-beams are decorated with floral motifs and angels. On the shaft a recessed space for a text board.
