In de noordwestelijke hoek van de algemene begraafplaats van Sambeek staat op een anoniem kindergraf een GRAFKRUIS.
Omschrijving
Het kindergrafje is beplant met een buxushaagje en heeft een gietijzeren grafkruis met de tekst: "I N R I", een corpus en, aan de voet van het kruis, een knielende engel.
Waardering
Het gietijzeren grafmonument is van algemeen belang. Het heeft cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een sociale en geestelijke ontwikkeling, in het bijzonder de ontwikkeling van de katholieke grafcultuur, het is tevens van belang voor de typologische ontwikkeling van het gietijzeren grafmonument.
