Inleiding
18de/19de-eeuws ZOMERHUIS, annex bakhuis, behorend bij een, buiten de bescherming vallende, boerderij bij de buitenplaats Ter Horst, die gelegen is langs de Achterlaan (Horstlaan), aan de rand van het oude sterrenbos.
Omschrijving
Het ten westen van de boerderij op rechthoekige grondslag opgetrokken vrijstaande pand is witgepleisterd met een zwarte plint en bestaat uit één bouwlaag onder een met rode Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekt wolfsdak met op de nok een gemetselde schoorsteen. In de voorgevel bevinden zich twee meerruits schuifvensters op de begane grond en één meerruits verdiepingvenster. In de rechter zijgevel twee toegangsdeuren met bovenlicht.
Waardering
Het ZOMERHUIS, annex bakhuis, is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde als voorbeeld van een 18de/19de-eeuws zomerhuis met een sobere architectonische vormgeving. 18th/19th-century SUMMER HOUSE, adjoining a bake house, belonging to a farm outside the protected area at the country estate Ter Horst, which is situated along the Achterlaan (Horstlaan), at the edge of the old pine wood.
Description
The freestanding building erected to the west of the farm on a rectangular ground plan is whitewashed with a black plinth and consists of one storey under a half-hipped roof covered with red Old Dutch tiles with a brick chimney on the ridge. In the front facade are two multi-pane sash windows on the ground floor and one multi-pane upper storey window. In the right side facade two entrance doors with fanlights.

The SUMMER HOUSE, adjoining a bake house, is of general importance due to its cultural and architectural-historical value as an example of an 18th/19th-century summer house with sober architectural design.
